I am loved, I'm made pure

I have life, I can breathe

I am healed, I am free

You are light breaking through

Those lyrics come to mind when I think of the impact training camp had on me this past week. 

First off let me start by bragging on my squad. Their souls are on fire for the Lord and it is so evident. To be in a community of like minded believers is incredible to experience. Vulnerability comes to mind when I think of our group, they were all willing to share their past and what Christ has done through them. Each member of our squad has been placed purposely on this team.

This past week was physically, emotionally and mentally draining to be real honest with you. I was really soaking in all the things that were preached and talked about by our leaders. Some things were hard to understand because of my unwillingness to allow God into certain areas of my life. However the Lord really worked on my heart, to be open minded about what he can do through me and through others. 

My biggest take away from this week is to say “yes” to the Holy Spirit. Allow him to work through me, to listen to what he says about me rather than what the enemy says, and allow him to finish the good work he has started. God is good all the time and I’m beyond grateful for his Grace.
