Y’all! I am fully funded! Praise Jesus! What a blessing you all have been! The Lord has definitely used each and everyone of you. When I found out that I was going on the race, I looked at what I had to fundraise and was like “wow that’s a lot of money”. However the Lord gave me peace and I had complete confidence that if this was his will for me that he would provide. It amazes me to see the specific people he used…I would have never guessed! He is full of surprises and I am thankful that I am on this journey to share the Gospel!

I really enjoyed my time in Costa Rica. I learned a lot about patience’s and what that looks like. As you all know I took Spanish 1, three times and didn’t learn a thing! So the language Barrier was a huge struggle for me. I asked the Lord if he would send me someone to share the gospel with that spoke English! Oh how he provides! A week before we left, it was sabbath for us and me and Sierra ( my team leader) were on the beach reading and praying. As I was praying I became  frustrated with not being able to openly share the gospel without feeling restricted because of the language barrier. Within 30 minutes I looked up and saw a girl around my age sitting alone 5 feet from me. I immediately was like “hmm interesting”. I then told the Lord… “Surely you don’t want me to share the gospel right now, I’m resting”. I then realized that he was answering my prayer that I prayed weeks ago without even knowing if she spoke English or not. So I got up and walked over to her and asked if she spoke English and she said yes. PRAISE JESUS! I was shooting for joy inside! I was able to sit down with her, she was from Ireland, visiting Costa Rica. We had a really good conversation and I was able to pray over her and share the gospel through the prayer. She was very thankful and said no one has ever done that for her before. After our conversation we were able to connect on social media! I am excited to see what the Lord will do through that conversation. He is such a good Father and I love seeing him at work. It was such a good reminder that we may not always get what we want and when we want it, but he is faithful to provide in his timing and if it’s of his will!

We have now made it to Guatemala! What a beautiful country this is! I am excited to learn more about the culture here and to see how God will use my squad and I. I have a feeling that I am going to be learning a lot of Spanish these next two months considering our host does not know much English! I am currently working on trying to speak the gospel in Spanish, this should be interesting 🙂

Again thank you so much for your support and prayers! The Lord is good!
